Buy these books! Five young adult contemporary romance books you should buy and read right now.

While I have been contemplating on what to post next here on my blog, I realized that I haven't done much reading this month. Actually, I haven't done any reading at all. So I sat and kept on trying to remember which books i've read and loved for the past couple of months, which books brought upon this reading slump (the phase wherein you can't get over a great book that you don't actually have the strength to start reading a new one). So what I did was, I stood up, took out a few books and took a photo of them to share with you guys. These books that i'm sharing with you in this list are the books which i've enjoyed and actually fell in love with. I'm not going to put any reviews, since I might end up babbling or spoiling too much, i'm just going to share their plots with you guys (well maybe i'll say a few words).

In no particular order since I love them all equally or since I just can't decide how to arrange them, here they are:

1. Between the lines by Jody Picoult and Samantha Van Leer

GENRE: Young Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Fiction, Contemporary, Fairy Tales, Magic

PLOT: Delilah is a bit of a loner who prefers spending her time in the school library with her head in a book—one book in particular. Between the Lines may be a fairy tale, but it feels real. Prince Oliver is brave, adventurous, and loving. He really speaks to Delilah.

And then one day Oliver actually speaks to her. Turns out, Oliver is more than a one-dimensional storybook prince. He’s a restless teen who feels trapped by his literary existence and hates that his entire life is predetermined. He’s sure there’s more for him out there in the real world, and Delilah might just be his key to freedom.A romantic and charming story, this companion novel to Off the Page will make every reader believe in the fantastical power of fairy tales.

MY FEW WORDS: Love this one since the story is quite unique. The book has these illustrations which are awesome and I recently learned that there's a sequel to it too!

2. Landline by Rainbow Rowell

GENRE: Fiction, Contemporary, Romance, Time Travel, Chick lit, Young Adult

PLOT: Georgie McCool knows her marriage is in trouble; it has been in trouble for a long time. She still loves her husband, Neal, and Neal still loves her, deeply — but that almost seems beside the point now.

Maybe that was always beside the point.

Two days before they’re supposed to visit Neal’s family in Omaha for Christmas, Georgie tells Neal that she can’t go. She’s a TV writer, and something’s come up on her show; she has to stay in Los Angeles. She knows that Neal will be upset with her — Neal is always a little upset with Georgie — but she doesn't expect him to pack up the kids and go home without her.

When her husband and the kids leave for the airport, Georgie wonders if she’s finally done it. If she’s ruined everything.

That night, Georgie discovers a way to communicate with Neal in the past. It’s not time travel, not exactly, but she feels like she’s been given an opportunity to fix her marriage before it starts...

Is that what she’s supposed to do?

Or would Georgie and Neal be better off if their marriage never happened?

MY FEW WORDS: Rainbow Rowell = Love! I've read all her novels and loved every single one of them and this one's no exception. This leans more into adult ( with a bit of the concept of time travel ) than young adult but the characters are still very loveable nonetheless.

3. Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson

GENRE: Contemporary, Young Adult, Romance, Realistic Fiction

PLOT: It was Sloane who yanked Emily out of her shell and made life 100% interesting. But right before what should have been the most epic summer, Sloane just…disappears. All she leaves behind is a to-do list.

On it, thirteen Sloane-inspired tasks that Emily would normally never try. But what if they could bring her best friend back?

Apple picking at night? Okay, easy enough.

Dance until dawn? Sure. Why not?

Kiss a stranger? Um...

Emily now has this unexpected summer, and the help of Frank Porter (totally unexpected), to check things off Sloane's list. Who knows what she’ll find?

Go skinny-dipping? Wait...what?

MY FEW WORDS: I love Morgan Matson's novels so much but this one takes the cake. Friendship, getting to know yourself better, new romance and tons of other reasons why you have to read this book guys. The book cover looks fantastic doesn't it? (plus the hardcover copy looks gorgeous with photos inside the book jacket) It's funny, sweet and just pure awesome.

4. P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

GENRE: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance, Realistic Fiction, High School, Family

PLOT: hmmmmm SORRY, I REALLY CAN'T SAY! You have to read the first book or else I'll spoil this one big time. Read "To all the boys i've loved before" then this one. Both books are equally awesome but since I love endings, I loved this one more than I did the first.

5. Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson

GENRE: Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance, Realistic Fiction, Road Trip, Travel

PLOT: Amy Curry is not looking forward to her summer. Her mother decided to move across the country and now it's Amy's responsibility to get their car from California to Connecticut. The only problem is, since her father died in a car accident, she isn't ready to get behind the wheel. Enter Roger. An old family friend, he also has to make the cross-country trip - and has plenty of baggage of his own. The road home may be unfamiliar - especially with their friendship venturing into uncharted territory - but together, Amy and Roger will figure out how to map their way.

MY FEW WORDS: Ha! Told you I love Morgan Matson's novels! This one's a bit fast paced but it has really interesting, adorable and funny characters. Romance + Road Trip = makings of a great book ;)

So I guess that's it. Buy these books now and read them and tell me what you think okay? I'll do another list soon thanks for reading! ;)
